Our work centers on two pillars: empowering local entrepreneurs and ensuring every child in Huntsville has the resources to learn and grow.
Small businesses are the heartbeat of Huntsville. We invest directly in the people who build them through grants, mentorship, and partnerships.
Each year, we award a grant to one Huntsville small business that embodies the spirit of community, perseverance, and entrepreneurial drive. Named in honor of Ahmed Arafat, this grant is our way of investing in the next generation of business owners who will shape this city.
The grant is open to businesses at any stage, from pre-launch ideas to established operations looking to grow. We look for people who see their business as more than a livelihood, as a contribution to Huntsville.
Apply NowWe partner with the Catalyst Center to provide coaching, resources, and networking opportunities for Huntsville entrepreneurs. Whether you are launching your first venture or scaling an existing one, the Catalyst Center offers the tools and community to help you succeed.
Through this partnership, grant recipients and aspiring business owners gain access to workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and a network of fellow entrepreneurs who understand the journey.
Learn MoreEvery child deserves a fair start. We partner with organizations that provide scholarships, school supplies, advocacy, and access to education for Huntsville's young people.
Education opens doors. We contribute scholarships and financial aid through the Alabama A&M University Foundation, supporting students who might otherwise be unable to pursue their academic goals. For many of these students, a scholarship is the difference between attending college and not.
Learn MoreTeachers should not have to pay out of pocket to equip their classrooms. Free 2 Teach provides free school materials to public school teachers in Madison and Limestone County, ensuring every classroom has what it needs for students to succeed. We are proud to support this program and the educators who give so much to our children.
Learn MoreThe NCAC provides critical services for child abuse victims and their families. Founded right here in Huntsville, it was the first organization of its kind in the nation. We support their ongoing mission to protect children and provide healing to families in our community, because every child deserves to feel safe.
Learn MoreNACEE helps underrepresented students access postsecondary education. For many young people in our community, the path to college is not straightforward. NACEE provides guidance, preparation, and support to help them get there. We believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not, and that is what we are working to change.
